Our Students

We know that returning to study can be exciting but also students can be a bit apprehensive so we make sure that we provide a positive and friendly experience & help you to get settled in.

Our students are often people that currently work in the industry and are looking to improve their skills for their professional development and career. We also have a number of students wishing to embark on new careers in Community Services or Healthcare and need the right qualifications to get started.

Whatever your situation, you will find our experienced team can help you make the right decision about your career. Here’s what some of our recent students have to say.

“I had the pleasure of completing my Certificate III in Aged Care with the help of Wentworth College. The Team is highly professional, easily approachable and work tirelessly to help students who may be under financial hardship or having personal problems that affect their study. They also track the progress of students after they have graduated to ensure they have achieved their goals. Thanks to the Wentworth team, I now have the confidence, skills and a well-paid job in a field that I have an immense passion for”

Upon completion of the course I applied to the Department of Human Services as a Case Worker and was successful in obtaining employment working with adolescent marginalized youth affected with homelessness, drug, alcohol and substance abuse. I am currently working with Organisations such as Berry Street and other support programs through Residential care units based in around the city of Melbourne.

The Course was an excellent opportunity to gain skills that are nationally recognized in Australia for this specialized field. Our Tutor is highly qualified in the field of Community Services, I found her to be an excellent tutor who was more than happy to share her knowledge base which made this Course very interesting and enjoyable. I have decided to proceed with the Diploma of Community Services with Wentworth College to further enhance my Employment skills in this Sector.

I must acknowledge the fabulous support team at Wentworth College for their excellent job in ensuring their students needs were met when requested ie, Training assessment’s Resource books and their ongoing concern for the wellbeing of their Students.
I have no hesitation in referring Wentworth College as a reliable training College to anyone in the pursuit of obtaining higher education and qualifications to pursue their dream in their respective fields.

I am currently completing my Diploma in Community Services with Wentworth College, and would like to just express my gratitude towards Nathan and my educators. Prior to commencing the diploma I had a very relaxed and informative telephone conversation regarding what Wentworth can offer me in relation to classroom style training sessions. I am personally not too fond of technology-based training, I need human interaction and really how can you do role-play over Skype? I have never left a class being confused or overwhelmed. We all enjoy our sessions and are very interested in the material, so much so that we continue with the topic over our breaks. I have truly patted myself on the back with my decision to enroll at Wentworth.

I am writing to let you know I have been looking for a new job in welfare and am pleased to say I have been successful and start this week. I enjoyed the class and your style of teaching.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you Wentworth College for all your assistance this year. A big thank you and hearty appreciation to my trainer for all his help, guidance and excellent teaching techniques in allowing me to immensely enjoy the course and complete the assessments on a high standard. If it were not the teacher, I would not have gotten this far in completing this certificate – I truly appreciate it.
